WESIE Launches Sports Academy

After last years amazing sports event, WESIE breaks new ground by launching an online sports academy.

The first of its kind, WESIE’s vision involved creating an easy to access learning platform for the sporting community. It also simultaneously launched its first course…’Maximising Impact Through Coaching’. In view of the infamous COVID- 19 lockdown, the course has been offered for free for a limited time only. This is to enable coaches to use their time in lockdown productively at little cost at a time when many are struggling to survive and have little idea of what the future holds.

The course itself is part of a much bigger development program where WESIE hopes to select those that perform exceptionally well for its mentorship programme where coaches will be supported to hold a local event during which their performances will also be assessed. WESIE hopes to use this opportunity to determine coaches that can come to the next level with the organisation.
