Change Through Sports!!!

WESIE launches ‘Creating Change Through Sports’! Further to the successful launch of WESIE Sports Academy earlier in 2021, WESIE realised there was a need to supplement the academy courses with interactive workshops. Thus, it launched the ‘Creating Change Through Sports’ Workshops. The first one was well attended. Former National Coach- Peter Ahmedu, who is also an established professional coach who has won many trophies nationally and internationally. One of Africa’s leading coaches really inspired attendees at the inaugural workshop sharing key aspects of his story. He encouraged them greatly.

It was an interactive session with many attendees voicing their opinion before and after the session as to some of the changes needed for the game, as well as their needs. Many also expressed gratitude to WESIE for its efforts over the year and for organising the workshop. WESIE looks forward to organising more workshops in 2021…..
