Bayelsa Hosts WESIE PG 2019

Further to last years successful regional tournament in Bayelsa, WESIE was invited back to Bayelsa for its annual event.

This year was particularly successful as 10 teams from across the country were in attendance with several others on standby. With participants from as far as Katsina State, the event is increasing in popularity annually. Many teams have already expressed interest in participating in the next event.

Such was the success of this years event, that it attracted national media coverage. Last years champions, Bayelsa held onto the trophy after a competitive match between them and Delta state. Team Possibility from Ekiti, who were participating for the first time managed to edge out Cross River to take 3rd place.
